Week 5
I spent most of this week working on fixing the bay window. I missed half of thursdays lecture due to issue with my car, so I didn't get a lot done on Thursday.
After discussing with Jamie, we decided the best way to fix the issue with the bay window, would be to separate it from the whole object, adjust the height, and then reattach it. Unfortunately, during this, the shape of the detailing was somewhat lost, and had to be redone as well. This took up most of the lecture on Friday, but overall it was worth it, as it has made the silhouette of the building look a lot better, and the floor divisions look a lot crisper than they did before. I think I am going to create a similar window on the first floor on the other side of the building, above the door, though this may end up making the whole building look too busy, so it may be scrapped.
Next week I really need to work on the roof and the smaller details, such as the doors and windows, as so far I have mostly focused on the main shapes, which while are important, still need the smaller details to make them look good.
